Im not sure how far a field they went, but if you have had your bike stolen in and around Edinburgh, then you should ask if your bike might have been recovered.
There is not too much info on this yet, but they got arrested for stealing 149 top end road and mtb's.

Just goes to show that high-end bike theft is often organised crime - not a concept that people usually take seriously.
