As above , are they any good and tough enough for an "enduro" bike?
They seem very cheap indeed currently..
Thanks 🙂
I'm looking at the 29er version as we speak....dammed CRC emails!
Started this the other day and I'm still pondering....

Aha! Cheers
Yes damn CRC - £100 for a set seems crazy but tubeless and wide would be nice ..
Plus BC discount of 10% or CLEAR2017 for £10 off!
I had a set of these in 26" variety. Very well-built, quite tough but not enduro tough (they are billed as XC race wheels), only 19mm internal width so not the best with large rubber.
They're built with high tension straight pull spokes and aluminium nipples. The nipples are prone to rounding and spares are difficult to come by (as well as being very expensive if you do manage to find some). I had to bin the rear wheel after a spoke broke.
The hub bearings are very smooth and long lasting. The freewheel bearings only had seals on one side and went quite quickly though. Fulcrum / Campag said that the freewheel bearings are non-replaceable and that I would need to buy a new freehub (£70-odd quid) but after a bit of searching online I found some instructions to replace the bearings, which aren't of a common size so took a bit of searching to get hold of.
Personally, I found them too much bother and went with a standard build for my next wheelset.
