Perhaps Kinesis think using two bottles in shower or especially hot weather is a bit Timotei.
Or perhaps their design team think a hardtail can make do with a full sus front mech design.
If you want a hardtail frame, a hardtail front mech and two bottles to drink from on a long ride then avoid Kinesis at all costs.
(this is just my learned discovery)

Top swing mech looks like it should go on that fine. Where does the cable come from?
That frame is designed for a top-swing mech. Lots of hardtails are. Bit of a pain if you only have a 'normal' mech though! Not really any cause to blame the frame builders.
