Right... needing a top pull 34.9 front mech.
but the cable exit points to the NDS of the bike, and my current one cable clamps next to the cage on the DS, so the cable pull feels shite as it rubs and yanks accross.
Anyone know of a top pull mech, that clamps on the oppo side to the cage?
nice effort for a sale, but doesn't exactly fit the brief mate!

then the cable clamp is in line with the cage.
what i want is the cable clamp further inboard, like it is on some bottom pulls.
like this... but that's the bottom pull position.
all gone quiet now. boooo
if it was further inboard there wouldnt be enough leverage to pull the mech.
well that depends on the design.
some of the old deores have a loop round the bottom where the cable goes down and back up...
