Will an SLX 3x10 front mech work with a SRAM 2x10 shifter on an X9 2 ring chainset (39/26t if it makes any difference)?
Or will I need to buy a new front mech?
I'm swapping components over from one frame to another and the new frame is direct mount with the mech already fitted, whereas the old one was band fitting.
I know all about the compatibility issues at the back end abut I've no idea about the pull ratios of the front mechs & shifters.
Cheers for any advice.

Shimano and SRAM front mechs have the same pull ratio, so you should be ok.
If it's already fitted, give it a try 🙂

Cheers Mary, that's what I was hoping.
New bike hasn't arrived yet (tomorrow hopefully) so I won't get the chance to test yet.
