Spotted this on an pic of a Klein palomino - what is it? i'm referring to the the widgetty thing circled in yellow on this pic. Clearly it is some sort of guide for the gear cable. Looks familiar to me but can't find any reference to it on t'internet. What's is it? & do i need one? 😉

it is a rollermajig, AFAIK Avid don't make them any more cos they were designed to make Shimano rear mechs shift better which obviously isn't in SRAM's interest...

pretty pointless now too as new rear mechs are direct pull and you don't have a loop anymore
