I own a Cube Race ltd 2010. It’s a great bike, one that I am having serious fun on. I have owned it 8 ½ months. The Freewheel effect on the hub has gone, which is highly frustrating. I was told by the shop it is not a part covered by warranty. I have a couple of question I am hoping someone might be able to help on
1. Is 8 ½ months a reasonable amount of time for a hub to last before the freewheel goes.
2. Anyone know of anything more sturdy that might be compatible without a whole wheel rebuild ?
Nb I am relatively new to MTB and a lot of this is new to me
