Quick question hopefully.
I have a 2018 Giant ATX 2 and it appears that my freehub body has given up the ghost. When I pedal the cranks obviously go round, the chain moves (doesn’t slip) and cassette spins; but the ratchet in the freehub body doesn’t engage so therefore the wheel doesn’t get driven.
Looking on the Giant website, the wheel hub is a joytech one. The cassette is a shimano hyperglide.
So the question is, will any 8/9/10 speed mountain bike shimano Freehub body fit? If not, can someone advise what I should be getting please? Links or model numbers would be useful.

You need to find the specific freehub for the hub. The info on Giants website is vague as you’d need the specific model of hub.
Joytech is novatec.
I’d contact a giant dealer to see if they can source one or give you the specific model number.
