[Closed] Freeborn cycles - stock levels online

I'm looking for a Stumpjumper fsr evo (26) after realising I've not ridden anything I enjoy more than the one I sold.

Freeborn show the 2013 model and I prefer this to the 2014 colourway but it doesn't measure anything about stock levels.

Does anyone know if what they show is what they have?

Other than that anyone know a shop with a small 2013 stumpjumper evo instock?

Have you tried phoning them?.....

And 'colourway'....

Phoned and emailed with no response.

And yep colourway, not sure why you mentioned that. If I'm spending what is a lot of money to me then I want to like the look and colour of the bike.

If I called and emailed a company with no response there is absolutely no way I would be giving them 10 pence worth of custom, let alone buying a new bike.
Imagine the fun you would have if there was a warranty issue.

I'd have to be honest and say it's my impatience that's the issue.

I only tried a day ago so hopefully they will get back to me tomorrow.

Maybe they're on an Easter break shredding the appropriate gnarr?

Well if they don't answer during business hours I'd be looking elsewhere.

I think he's more concerned about use of the hideous word "colourway" than you caring what the bike looks like.

Surely that would be colorway?

Ha sorry it comes from my trainer hoarding days. I won't use it again.

Daveh, yup but in a 'you don't know what you've got till it's gone' sort of way. Should have stuck with my original specialized.

Hopefully this will be the last bike I buy, and it's a full build, for a long time.

Keep using it. I like it. Ignore the haters and their 'colour schemes'

Cheers rich.

I really wish companies would remove what they don't have. It's just a way for you to make contact so they can sell you something else.

2014 it will have to be then.

Jamie, I didn't even know it was an American thing ha.

Was the 2013 model reduced? If so, freeborn will often let you have the 2014 model discounted. It's worth persisting with them. Both my father and I have bought bikes from them. It used to a fairly lbs to my dad.

I ordered brakes from them(not on stock) but I knew this so happy to wait.. Spoke with them on phone numerous times no issues.. Got brakes prompt after they got stock all good ๐Ÿ™‚

Not just freeborn are guilty/forget to update stock .. I learned years ago never to take stock showing as a given I ALWAYS call first with any shop to check ๐Ÿ™‚

Well they don't have stock anyway. 2013 or 14.

Might be tempted by an enduro. Would seem to suit peak riding as well as the stumpy.

Have you ridden either?
Check shock replacement, spare spokes if they are rovals and 142+ wheels first.

I've ridden the stumpy lots. I can stick on my flow ex wheels if I stick with 26".

Freeborn have suggested a Devinci Troy XP, has anyone got any experience with this bike?
