I'm 95kg (215lbs) so right on the limit for firm (green) and very firm (yellow) springs acording to the Fox spring guide. Do i need the yellow one that goes from 205lbs to 240 lbs or will I get away with the green one? Riding down steep hills with big rocks.

Im 220 fully kitted,i was told by mojo that i would need a yellow. When i fitted the fork and tried the green it was plenty firm enough and i could only get 31mm of sag.I gave it a good battering on saturday and it has been fine with no diving or bottoming out.All i can say is try the green before you stump up for the yellow.

A lot depends on how you like to run. according to the charts I should be running a Blue, However, after a day at Wharncliffe, running it with Full pre-load, I find I'd be better off with the Green 175-210 with no pre-load... I prefer a firmer fork anyway.

Steep hills with big rocks? Cool, where's that then?

I normally always run harder springs. In fact, my 6 pack came with a 550 lbs but I swapped it for a 700 lbs. However, my 36Van RC2 is the first time I've ever been happy to run the stock spring.
