I've got a Fox RP23xv which has been serviced at regular intervals (seals) I've come to notice that at the start of the stroke it seems to have a small step before getting into its smooth travel. I have removed the shock and made sure this is not coming from the bearings/pivots in the frame. This seems to happen with ProPedal both on (all 3 settings) and off.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so what was it and how was it fixed?

Mine does the same, non xv model though. The only servicing it's had in 3 years is removing the air can for a quick clean and fresh blob of Float fluid.
As it's normally sat in a sag position, passed the 'notch', I've never really given it too much thought!
