I have been looking at the fox tech website getting ready to service my rl 32's. I have noticed that they use a base valve removal tool to take the bottom of the damper off to clean it. Only problem is you can seem to get the tool any where. Looking at it, it just looks like two nuts been used as a locking nut combination to allow you to undo the valve. Any one on here done this in the past and can advise on how to do this without a tool.
Thanks

Not sure you need a special tool. If I bump this up then maybe Loco will notice it

I wouldnt bother unless you have proper sized shaft clamps. If the oil inside the damper is ok, just give a rinse out with some clean fresh oil, drain it off and put some fresh oil in and it'll be reet.
