[Closed] Fox float rebound and compression tune

Hi all, being a complete rear shock novice just wanted to ask a few questions. I have a RP2 on my Anthem and was just wondering about the factory set compression & rebound tunes and how they are set for the shock.

I understand(if I am correct!) that the factory compression tune equates to the firmness of the shock once the pro pedal lever is closed and is set(I suppose) dependant upon the frame design, similar to that of the RP3 which obviously has three levels of firmness to choose from. What does the rebound tune do for the shock? It already has eight clicks of adjustment from fast to slow. Is it set at a specific level and then the adjustment range is around this default setting?
