Don't really care about adjustability or pedalling performance - just plushness! £100 extra for the RP23 seems steep - is it really justified?
Have you thought about it Pushed? I noticed a real difference going from a Float R to pushed.
Depending on the terrain my bike can be loads better with the Propedal turned off sometimes, even climbing. Can't do that on the Float R. That's worth it for me.
go coil if you want plush
I find being able to turn off PP for the downs is a worthwhile option.

ins't the Float R basically like an rp23 with the propedal turned off?
RP2? - I can't see the benefit of a RP23 - once it's set to your liking, my RP2 has PP on and PP off, why do you need the stage inbetween
I was under that impression. I have just the R version and its never bothered me.
The R has the pro pedal set by the factory (normally quite a light tune) and can't be turned on or off.
The RP2 has pro pedal off or on
The RP3 has pro pedal off or on with on having three distinct postions (soft, medium and firm)
