FIT Float 34's easy to do without having to change or add the oil?
Ive travel changed 36 Floats before- as straight forward as this?

I've heard stories of keeping the forks perfectly upside down so all the oil stays in the uppers.
I wouldn't be messing around with that. The oil should be changed regularly and doesn't cost much. Since you've got the lowers off i'd be putting fresh oil in.

As above really, very little reason not to change the oil once you've got that far.
