Got some 2005 Vanilla R130 forks here, and the seals have gone, spilling oil. Since I'm about to strip them down to refurb them, I'm thinking that at this age the bushes are likely to start playing, but they're not sloppy right now. If it's easy to change the bushings I'll order some when getting the oil and seals. Any experiences/tips?

Specialist tool required for bush replacement, was looking at the one Loco bought recently-very nice, very expensive, not really a DIY proposition though.

If your handy with a file it is possible to make a washer fit( big one) just file it so that there are two flats opposite and so that its just small enough to fit in the bushing, don't forget to use some stud bar that is long enough to stick out to top of the leg so you can pull the bush out. Remember to measure from the top of the leg to the top of the bush before you take them out.
