Hello all, I've found a promising looking bridleway on the b4070, opposite the fostons ash pub.
Sadly I didn't have time to have a proper look ( the herd of hikers didn't help either).
I've had a look at my o.s map and it looks like the route goes down to sheepscombe and then back up to cranham wood.
Has anyone here had a chance to ride it? Because it looks very good indeed.

Take it you mean the downhill section towards Sheepscombe - once through the gates is a fast descent. Gets a bit cut-up when wet by dobbin so should be riding Ok at the Mo. At the end of the woods you need to take a right, passing by the cricket pitch to head back towards Cranham. Look out for badgers if doing it at night - they like a race !

i head up this one to then along the road to cranham/birdlip. its nice to go down though sometimes if im in a hurry to get home.
Cool,cheers guys.
Hopefully this dry weather will last, fingers crossed!
