My Orange5 2004 - I need to replace the original Fox Vanilla125, preferably with another Fox.
Looking at the classifieds and ebay, apart from a straight replacement, what length fork can I get away with without screwing up the geometry. I want to keep at least 125mm travel, but it seems Fox changed the travel options to 130, 140, 150 for later models. Did this come with the equivalent overall length change too?
Anybody got a good one for sale? (Already considering a Vanilla off Classifieds off here...)
Why not send your 125 model back to Mojo or TF Tuned for a service?
pike works really well on my 2004.
bluebird: scratched stanchions - so likely to need a new top half. My plan is to get a decent used fork, repair/service the old fork myself and put it on the wife's light-use bike.
