Taking a trip to the FoD tomorrow.
So whats it like at the moment mud wise
where is the best place to go.

Went a few weeks back and it was all good, just go to the trail centre in Cannop.
Vererder's trail is the 11k ride and pretty good, last section is awesome!! There's lots of DH stuff to have a play on.

You can also do the old Freeminers Trail (marked with red painted arrows) which leads off the new Verderers Trail. The old trail and other bits were a bit slippy in places last w/e but all rideable and good fun. As above ask in the shop.

Its cold and clear out there now. Might well dry up a bit.
verderers dragons tail (last bit) had a closed sign on it at lunchtime, what's going on?
Was it the A4 sized sign on the post about 50 yards from the first burm on the fire road..?
If so it says it was closed for 1 week in oct but its ok its open ...rides well to.. 😆

i was there at today at lunchtime, didn't see any closed signs, and was ok when i went down, it a bit muddy in places, but not too bad.
Well if you ride the verderers trail you will be fine.But alot of the enduro course and over to the Dowies is a mud bath.You could ride the family trail with your full suss then it stays lovely and clean which a few were doing today everybody to there own.My bike was blastered easy to clean.Verderers last bit has a different route to it blue and red doesnt seem as good as when it was red only near the end.Very misty down there.Bit dryer over dippies way.
