Heading there tomorrow. is the best place to park up at the pedalaway bike centre and go from there?

Wanted to hit the Verderer's Trail and the Freeminer's

would these be sensible options?

Thanks!

Yup, those trails start from the main car-park.

Both trails start and finish from the car park. The Verderer's bobbles along up and down. The final descent is worth the effort though. Not done the Freeminers for a while. A bit more tech but quite a light "Red" grade.

The cafe is good too for a break in between laps. The Uplift was £15 for half day or £2 or £3 per run last week. OK if you want the reward of the down for none of the effort of the up. The Verderer's descent goes from the drop off point.

Have fun!

Definitely good fun.. you'll want to go round the Verderer's again just to push harder on the last descent!

As mentioned above the red isn't really any harder than the blue, just a bit more natural in surface (rooty climbs and descents etc)..

so we did it....Red and Blue. Was fun if a little short. Would have gone on a bit further but was getting late and we still had a bit more driving to do.

Loved the end of the blue.

Did Verderers a couple of weeks ago, really good fun, but don't stop whatever you do DO NOT STOP!!

Just ruins the flow of the trails.
