So what to do, I have a choice, that is either following my heart or head on a refurb vs purchase?
Not mentioning the choice off-hand, as the refurb is for a marmite item.
I'd like to refurb but buying new is going to be cheaper.

Buy a new one...then you can refurb the old one at your leisure.

added trouble with the new option, is I already have 4 'spare' sets waiting to be refurbed (varying different types), and I could really do with getting 'rid' of some stuff...
