I'm in for four laps.

If you see a big fat beardy bloke in Vegan Cyclists kit on a Lynskey Rohloff 29er, say hello.

2 laps here which is more than enough for me.

I just realised that each of my 3 tubes are schrader and wont fit my rim if I have a tubeless fail. Oh well, it will keep the weight out of my bag...

In for 4 laps, hopefully finish before everyone's gone home!

Was one of the one's out today marking the course, yeah there's a few snazzy orange roots but it'd take a lot of paint to get them all done! Just hope no local rouges make any 'alterations' to the course before tmw...!

When you get bored watching come and watch our m/c trial up at Stoney Green. Find Mallards Pike entrance and down the road towards Blakeny and on the right oppo the turning to Soudley. Some nice mtbing there as well.

Enduro was cool!

Must admit, I got to the end of lap one and Wondered if I could go another...Looked at my phone and it was 75 mins (yea yea, I know) so I decided to go again.

Did a painfully slow 2nd lap (getting passed left right and centre by the 4 lapper boys... but got round in the end. Loved some of the singletrack and the last set of downs was ace 🙂

Will go again next year for sure. (Wont take my phone this time..see other post 😯 )

Just got home from it. 2 laps was enough for me.

Great course - does anyone have a GPS route for it? - would like to ride it again but doubt whether I could follow it just from memory without the tapes and paint.

Thanks to the organisers and marshalls 😀

Me and the wok managed three out of four laps. I would still be there now if I went for a fourth. 😯

Really enjoyed it once again. Superb tough singletrack course and impeccable organisation.

A very big than you and well done to all at the RDFCC.

See you next year.

Managed 3 out of 4 and banged in 66 minutes on the first lap but my body had nothing to give crossing the the line to start the 4th lap.

There were some really quick riders there too.

Really good event, maybe try it on the full sus next year as my ass hurts from the carbon hardtail.

Plans are in hand for pretty much the same course [with a few variations] to be permanently waymarked during 2011 - funding is in place and I understand that contractors have tendered to do the work 🙂

There were some really quick riders there too.

First rider home in the 4-Lap finished in 3hrs 2minutes, 5th rider home crossed the line about 10 minutes later [and he is recovering from a cold!] 😯

It's a pity they don't show ages for the juniors entered; there are some pretty good times there by under-16s. At the other end of the scale, the guy who came 16th in the 2-Lap will be 65 at his next birthday 🙂

Was really good, love the course. Think the age categories need a bit of work tho- I came 2nd in Expert with 20 odd masters in front- why not just have a 4-lap category?! Unless someone wants to give me a prize, in which case I'll shut up 😉

Great work.

I was goosed after 1 lap and there was no chance of me doing 4 😯

my final time was 02:37:35 for 2 laps. Horrible, but a nice benchmark for next year. I was going to give all this up a few days ago, but I loved today...see you next year?

I thought it was a great course, I really enjoyed it, especially the section at the end....well done to the organisers.

My only regret was I should have done the 4 laps instead of the two, but I will be back next year for sure.

Who were the guys taking the photo's ?

Notice how the good looking guy in in the Vegan Cyclist kit in front gets round the corner OK, though.

Who could this riding god on a hardtail 29er who leaves 26er full sus riders eating his dust be ? 😉
