Morning All
I'm after a bit of guidance on servicing my Float 32 RL's. I've followed the instructions HERE but when I go to compress the forks they feel very stiff and I'm only getting about 40mm travel on them. My rebound dial wont turn either.
Can anyone point out where I've gone wrong please or point me in the right direction for a fix?
Cheers All ๐
Jammed control rod on the rebound cart. or the lockout lever isn't seated correctly, does the lock lever turn?
Travel reduction maybe due to too much oil in the damper side, did you drain all the oil out of the damper cartridge when disasembled?
Ive got the same forks and had the same problem when I put too much oil in. See number 32 on this list for correct oil levels: http://service.foxracingshox.com/consumers/Content/Service/oil_volumes.(assuming yours are 2005 - 2011). Have a look on Youtube, there are loads of good videos on how to service properly.

Check the position of the rebound lever matched the postion of the control rod when the lever was reinstalled. If the control rod was in the fully on position and the lever was positioned fully off, it won't turn either way.
Thanks for your replies people, I'm gonna give it a skip tonight as my heads not in it. I'll have a little play tomorrow and if that doesnt sort it I'll be dropping you a line LoCo for a service I suspect ๐
Whoops! I've just realised I'd referred to the rebound when I meant the lockout lever. Good luck sorting it out tomorrow.
