Planning 2/3 bike holidays this year, last 4 years I've rented an evoc bag from 18 bikes in hope but the hassle of collecting and returning and the fact I plan to use it more this year makes me think about buying a bike bag
Have a missed any good ones or is evoc worth the extra?

Have Evoc, been round the world twice with it and lots of other flights. I can pack it in about 20 mins.

Have a look at the Polaris one. Very well made and will fit a 29 er with ease. Half price at the moment.
There is even a video showing how to pack it. Good review from one of the bike mags

I've got one of the Polaris bike pod things, a sort of semi-hard (s****) case, eva foam I think. It's been to India, Nepal, Tibet, Austria, Italy, Mongolia and back again and my bike was fine, no problems. Packing it well makes a lot of difference.

Check sizes, different airlines seem to have different weight limits and overall dimension restrictions and seem to change these on a whim.

Just bought x2 Polaris axial pods.
As Tracy kindly said, the Polaris was on sale for £150 plus £10 shipping. Reduce from £250 everywhere else.
Many thanks for all the input.
