How tall are you on an XL or L please?
At 6', 183 CM am I too short for an XL?
I used to be 6'1", 185cm but I appear to be shrinking, old age sucks.
edit :For comparison I ride a 2020 solarismax in L, and that is perfect
It’s with remembering that it’s C4 or C5, both with the same length head tube
Surely a C5 would be far far too big? 6ft is top end of C3 and middle of C4?
Usual answer is phone cotic and have a chat?
In new money, gen 5, c4 looks spot on with c5 starting at 6' and c3 topping out at 6.
But I'm asking about gen 4, which is M, l xl.
Yes I might give them a call, no reason not to
Go for a demo and try both sizes, and no doubt they'll also swap stems and you can move the saddle etc.
I originally got a L when I bought a Gen 2, but did demo on a Gen 3 and the XL now fitted better (steeper seat tube worked better with my XL legs).
Not ridden a Gen 4.
Gen 4 here. 185cm / 6'1ft definitely the right size for me but I do have my saddle pretty much at the forward limit. Also 35mm stem and 40mm riser bar. XL would definitely be too long for me.
XL Gen3 RocketMax with 35mm stem - 6'3" - fits perfectly
6' here. On a large Jeht.
its a bloody long bike and thus its harder to pick up the front wheel. i certainly wouldn't want anything any longer.
Haha sorry madbill, yes I'm on a large.
I'm 175 and on a medium and right in the middle of the size chart. As a 29er I find it a bit big especially at places like BPW, and would probably have gone for a small. But in the end I've settled for it as a mullet without the angle adjustment.
