Meandering along to work today, and the lights turned green my way. A shared bike/pedestrian crossing. As the lights changed, self and a number of other pedestrians moved across the crossing.
I can only assume the fakenger riding fool hadn't seen us all there. After all, it can't have been that he was going too fast and was going to just jump through all the people and the red light, can it?
Well, several people saw him approaching at speed, none of us needed to get out of the way, after all the light was green for us.
Cue the following sounds;
Screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeech
as the fakenger skidded to a halt
BANG!
as his rear tyre exploded
You *expletive deleted*s This is your *swear filter avoidance* fault!
and then, calm as you like, from one of my fellow commuters;
Afraid not. Have a nice walk!
