Trying to fit the above kit to my louises. Fitted the caplier end fine.
now need to tighten the bit that goes into the brake lever (has a pointed end)to the collar attached to the hose. I have threaded the primary tiny thread into the hose so that secure. Just now need to do it all up. Thing is there's no bolt to use as the end is pointed. Can i just use pliers? Cannot use the collar on the non hose part as it being a collar it just allow the attachment to spins/ rotate.
instructions show two bolts. i have one collared bolt and one pointey end, with the second bolted collar spinning so not good.
Any ideas?
all sorted. a bit of headstratching and then an idea that worked. Place the end in a vice and rotate the whole assembly around the clamped part 🙂
