Anyone managed iton an older non-braked version? I don't want to get bosses welded on so was wondering is a deep drop road caliper might work, front or rear would do.
My son has now clicked with scooting on the bike and shortly will be heading off at a fair old rate so I was thinking that giving him the use of a brake might help (although using a brake will twist his melon for a while I guess)

To be honest my youngest never used his brake. The bell was his favourite.

My son seems happy enough crashing into walls rather than using the brake on his rothan.
That's my boy, as they say...
