Given the pathetic fines and sentences being handed out, a great idea seems to be being wrecked. I wish Bristol would get even this far though!

would certainly encourage women into doing it as opposed to other crimes.

It's gutting to know that the scrotes who steal our pride and joys do it for £20. And with the non existent 'penalties' the crooks receive, little is going to change.

Bike theft makes people have to buy new bikes, and take out insurance, who's premiums then go up. Meaning more money into the treasury from tax. Which goes towards paying for the police. And guns and bombs and stuff. And MPs duck houses and moats.
So in fact you should actively encourage people to steal your bicycle, because you are in fact supporting the economy and the nation.
