I'm doing the above (anyone else doing the 1066?) and have recently got a knee complaint in my right. I'm thinking of pacing a smidgen below my usual average and I'll be fine. But, I'm doing it with a mate who runs marathons and appears to have no sense of pain ๐ฏ
I've got gels, electrolyte tabs and there's food stops.
Any advice other than the obvious?

Don't stop in Hastings, even William the Bastard actually bypassed it and went straight from Pevensey to Battle.....
