Not bad for a slightly drunken idea I had. Brought to fruition by the hard work of many under the guidance of Luis Arnold.

Big Bike Bash is about 12 years old
Southampton Bike Park is about 6 years old

Looks like I am due another 'good idea' sometime soon

You missed the last one of 2019. Back in 2020 on the Wednesdays during school half terms. Not sure of the exact dates but if you look at the dates for this year it will be about the same.

There may be some informal bike jams this year - not sure - but keep an eye on the SBP facebook page or just turn up one weekend and see how is about. It is the most constantly used facility in the Sports Centre

Is there a charge ? Times you can or cannot ride ? The website seems, well, vague.

No and no. It's basically tracks in a public park, so ride it whenever you like ๐Ÿ™‚

No charge. Built and paid for by riders, for riders and open all hours.

Twistedpencil - Feel free. It took me 12 months to get the council to agree to the idea. Let me know if you want my 'business case' ideas I presented to them, questions they came up with and answers I gave. Also, don't underestimate the hard work you need to do to get it built

Really must get my nipper to get off his arse and visit the place, he may be 25 and in his last year of uni but I'm sure he'd still love it 😃
