grumm - I posted the Kate Nash question on here and then realised it was in the wrong forum. I edited to ask about Juicy 7s, but in the meantime, uplink has answered my question.

I'd go for Kate Nash - but that's me....
Ka... sorry. IME performance of the [s]Kate Nashs[/s] brakes is the same, just fractionally lighter and more adjustment up the range.
Depends if your 3s are knacked, says Kate.
Go for Elixirs, much better brake than the Juicys.
Why not upgrade to same brakes that are made properly instead?
Kate Nash uses Juicy 3s - she doesn't feel the bite point adjuster dial is worth the extra cash. She does however think that the Elixir's might be worth a look.
I was admiring a Kate's Elixirs the other week and she told me they were bad brakes. My amazement was shortlived when she showed how floppy the lever was.
You know the levers can be clicked away from the bars?
Well that was so loose, a bump would cause the lever to go out of reach. Rubbish eh?
