Haven't ridden in two weeks...

Like alot of folk go about their lives i guess...

Tonight went on a nightride...Now inspired, excited about life, energized, confident, happy, content, in synch...and buzzing...

Riding is amazing... ๐Ÿ™‚

yeah.. that's interesting. Took me until the end of the session to feel the bike again..felt like i was playing bukaroo at first. Absence makes heart stronger i guess, although I wouldn't recommend it too much lol.
Ride for life.

Haven't been off-road for many, many months (barring a group ride at xmas). I went out for a two hour blast on Wednesday and couldn't calm down all evening - chatting like I'd necked some speed and bombarding my partner with endless tale of how the trails have changed over the last year or so.

She swiftly served up a large glass of port and that was that...

But yeah; a re-converted MTBer here.

I was out last night too. It was relatively mild. The trails were mostly free of mud. There was a group of 20 of us (well that's how many we started with) whizzing along enjoying the night. I got hit be a startled deer - only a glancing blow. Then a few sociable beers at the pub before heading home. My bike doesn't even need cleaning. Smug as a bag of smug things ๐Ÿ™‚

Did my first ride for a few months the other day. Just an easy hour pootle on the road or so I thought. On the first hill chain fell off the granny ring and had an spd 'off'......half hour later down a country lane I didn't see a small branch sticking out of the hedgerow, nearly took my left eye out.....
Hope the next ride goes a bit better. ๐Ÿ™‚
