Just wanted to know what you guys like!

Getting my 29er powder coated next week, thinking of maybe a brown or gun metal grey.

What about you lot?

No one has ever looked at a shade of brown then gone away and composed a sonnet.
No rhapsody in brown.
No brown suede shoes.
No Brownsleeves.

I remember having brownsleeves occasionally when my kids were little.

I think the best colour scheme I've seen was brushed ti with mango/orange details and matte black.

I think Coventry City once had a brown away strip.
Dire.

Green. That Cotic green is nice. Someone on here will know the RAL code.
Looks nice with a few red bits.

Or, the best looking steel bikes on here in recent years, was that 29er that had been clear coated. Can't recall the make...(Curtis ?)
That was lovely.

After asking the same question the other week, I opted for Gregg's Blue, with white and orange graphics. I'll have pictures of the finished build before the weekends out ๐Ÿ™‚

Always fancied candy red or sparkly deep orange - but Kona/Stanton candy brg is also pretty cool.

Haha, brown might not SOUND great, but I've seen some really nice bikes with it. I guess it's more of a bronze colour though

Just seen that bike in gulf colours though... wow

Does anyone know the colour codes for the Shan 917?

This is going to be on a Giant XTC 29er

Black with silver/chrome/raw components, or raw with black components, maybe a hint of colour here and there for variety.

I've never managed to get over my Gulf colours lust. I'm so glad you can't get one of these anymore, I'd just stick it on the wall! Don't think i've ever seen a bike this nice.

BLACK

Don't listen to him, he is too much of a Goth. Would only buy a black Rocket, tells me not to buy an orange car. Bloody killjoy. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Whatever color you paint it don't do it in brown.

Black with red accents for me, maybe a bit of grey thrown in as well.

Orange with black contrast panels/components. Or those Gulf colours, they're lovely too.

Done ornage and blue but not Gulf colours. OnOne 456 in dayglo orange with anything I could find in ano blue attached to it.

Can't be arsed anymore, it all looks brown when it covered in mud.

Another vote here for Gulf - all my bikes (except the vintage cruiser which I can't bring myself to change) are various shades of orange and teal.

Always likes these too (primary colours FTW!) . . .

Also, bright/neon orange. If my bike is a colour I want it to be over the top.
