I've got a couple of sets of V1 lights from mtb batteries. They've been good but on the last few rides one of them has started 'strobing' of it's own accord then switching itself off. At that point there is no LED at the back of the lamp as if the battery is completely dead. After a few minutes they'll switch themselves back on again before going through the same cycle at some point.
I've emailed Smudge to see what he thinks but does anyone have any idea what the problem is? Worth persevering with and fixing or just buy another set?

If it does exactly the same thing... Then two possibilties..
Faulty driver
Knackered battery... On my taskled drivers when the battery is about to die, the led strobes a few times before switching off.
