I've probably been spending too much time watching Coastkid's videos but I'm getting increasingly intrigued by the 'Fatbike' thing.
There's no way I can justify another bike but my 1x1 does have clearance to spare and as there's only about 10 and a half stone of me I'm thinking that I should get a similar effect if I can find a way of filling that space. So far the biggest I've found is a 2.25 Michelin Wildgripr which measures 58mm across on a 17mm rim. A 2.4 Mountain King 2 comes in at 'only' 54mm.
Any ideas? A pair of 28mm Halo rims wouldn't break the budget and would do a better job of supporting a really fat tyre.
I posted a similar question on here last year!
