Post up your pics!
Just under a month into this fatbike thing and I've only ridden anything different once, and that was because of a puncture.
Allan (40mpg) sold me his Fatty that already had carbon forks. Since then I've added Knuckleball carbon bars in a Chewy flavour, MuckyNutz fenders, Orange SS Nano pedals from their Xmas offers deal and best of all a Beerbabe frame pack, snack pack and saddle bag. Not put the chainstay protector yet.

As she came:

As she is now before today's ride.

So what have you got between your legs?

Hi Hoff
I didn't drill the rims Allan (40mpg) had done it. Looks great and I assume the weight saving is worth it.

Here's mine, day of delivery:
[img] [/img]

It's now got reflective rim tape and better tyres for the wet; OO Floater rear and Surly Bud front. Front is tubeless, rear pending.

It will get a front mech. The 1x10 is doable, but I prefer the range from 2x10.

@ robware
What's wrong with the tyres??.....I find them perfect....I seem to have more grip than my mates OO fatty and he has the weight advantage too....maybe it could be down to how much pressure you have.
Your bike looks sweet...I kinda wish I went for charcoal now!!

Nothing's wrong with them, I just find that in the mud they float a little too much. The tread is deeper and has wider spacing on the Floater and Bud than the H-Billie. Having the deeper, wider, tread has really helped. The Bud also appears to have a stickier compound, which is nice.

When summer comes around I'll probably put the H-Billie back on.

Goldigger no not me, although I have seen him around, I'm smaller if you see a guy stop him it might be me and you can have a go on mine. I've ridden around here for along time, the fatty just makes it fun again. By far the most enjoyable bike to ride but you do get some strange looks

How do you find the carbonara?

As light as a rigid fork, with 60mm of very useful bump absorbing travel.
Perfect for beach riding with no stations to wear with sand in the seals and is maintenance free, great for putting away covered in mud and dusting off a day or two later.
