So need to change car ( do not want a van not need one but we usually just wack the bikes in the boot with seats down) so we need to carry bikes imparticular a fat bike with upto 5 inch tyres, so what are the best options that folk are using?
Roof rack?
Or
Tow bar?

I just use a Thule roof mounted carrier with the fat bike adaptor (just wider trays that the tyre sits in with a longer strap). Works fine

I'm not sure as to the cost of those adaptors ..but I've seen a ghetto version using guttering ..
