After 3 winters of love and admiration I have finally fallen out of love with my first ever FS bike
Oh it was lovely while it lasted but like all passionate relationships shes done the dirty and left me penniless and angry
I know its my fault
I know I should have shown her more love and affection
I know I should have replaced the frame bearings more than once every 3 years
2 days of bodging has done the trick and she'll be working her magic on me again at the weekend
But the next time I blast down a nasty rocky drop saying to myself "why do people ride hard tails" I will know the answer
The answer is folks because FS bikes need more tlc
The above assumes you keep a bike for 3 years or more which most of you dont 🙂

I fell out of favour with my trance after 3 years because the back end always felt like it was holding me back I perservered but had enough
I now ride a 456 and I do not miss the squishy bak end cos when it is rough I stand up and pedal and it just goes up and down with no issues
no more replacing 8 bearing any more life is again easy and alot more fun
