I bought eldest_oab a Bontrager mini combi pump/CO2 for his birthday in December.
Last week the seal inside tore while using it up the hill.
I emailed Trek and asked if they could supply a new seal. They can't - but are posting me a brand new pump.

A friend of mine had the downtube come away from the headtube on his Trek.
It had a lifetime warranty, so after 20 years of use, he got a new frame (yes, still has a 1" steerer).
...although he suspects it's been made by robots in Taiwan, rather than sardonic Wisconsinians, so will probably outlast him now.
