Just a wee heids up for those of you who don't follow us on Social Media (who could blame you?) that entries to Fair City Enduro 2021 go live tomorrow night at 7pm!
But even more importantly than that, you’ll have to be doubly quick to guarantee a place this year as only 200 tickets will initially be made available. We’re hopeful more entries will be available later in the year but don't want to oversell in case there are attendee restrictions on race day.
As you may know, Fair City Enduro has sold out every year since 2013 and the 2019 event not only sold out at almost 500 racers, but we had to close the waiting list a month before race day with over 50 people waiting for tickets! People just love a bit of fancy dress shredding don't they?!
Anyway that's all for now. I just wanted to make sure everyone had the best chance of bagging an entry for this long anticipated event.
Don't tell everyone, only 200 entries initially 🤣
Aye...stop shouting about it...entries will be tight already!
FFS why are people commenting on this?!
I wasn't going to bother but maybe I will now just to try and keep entries out of the hands of you lot.
(did the first one, it had everything- great trails, a ****ing see-saw, stupid blind racing, a man with a trumpet, views, a junior kickstart section with ringside seats for Joe Barnes cheating, a marshall warning you to "watch out for the tree" in a forest... So good)
If they have marshalls for the trees, how many to warn you about the mincer on the fat bike?
Was rubbsh when I did it 2 years ago. Terrible event. Trails were rubbish, flat atmosphere, just diabolically organised.
In short, don't bother trying to enter at 7pm tonight.
Bumpity bump - just over an hour before entries open 🤞
aaannnddd the site seems to be creaking
From their facebook:
"OK, so the web sever is having to go through a complete restart but we should be good to go by 7.45pm. Please be patient as if everyone sits and refreshes for the next 20 minutes it might crash again." I guess Aaron might be regretting that he stopped using Eventbrite

I was on an actual adult's bike on this occasion.
...and we're in! Worn the f5 key out.
In. 90 mins of frustration but hopefully worth it.
Was frustrating but managed to get tickets..
I tried, thought I'd got lucky, but no...
They've released more entries today. I've just signed up!
(Last MTB event at was a SAMS xc race in the mid nineties. No idea what I'm doing but I'm about to move to Scotland for work, and this looks a laugh!)
Selling my entry if anyone wants it?
Anyone looking for an entry? I've broken my collarbone so won't make it.
