I have replaced the bearings in my freehub over a few days and found a black spacer the exact diameter of the bearings left over. Can I find a diagram showing the two internal bearings and the sleeve I have pushed out and replaced, Can I heck.
Where does this black plastic spacer go?

of no help because it does not show inside the ITS4

to do with this, still no idea though.
based on an fts hub (so no idea how applicable it is to yours, but I had the same dilemma).... the spacer sits on the end the axle assembly, before you slide on the freehub.
If that doesnt make sense, this may help:
(indexed by wheel type.... not so helpfully) 🙂
Do you think it comes from inside the freehub? If so, since Mavic seem to regard freehubs as disposable items, I don't think they show the internals in their tech documents unfortunately. I have not taken one apart so I am afraid I can't help beyond that.
Edit:
Ah,I havejust seen the second video, it seems that there are two versions of the endcap, one requires the spacer, the other doesn't. Not much help if you can't see which you have already.
scrumfled, you were spot on! It's not on any diagrams but you put it on there and everything spins beautifully, much better than before. Free hub had little bit of drag, this has now gone.
Must admit I think i found it it on their service manual, but either way, glad you sorted it.
