Been looking to build up a keeper having gone through loads recently that just haven't been 'right'. I reckon this:

Plus all the c-recod bits off this:

Should make a sweet ride! One is in my back room, tother is on it's way from Milan - when both combine the magic will happen!

Nope, I imagine that'll be pretty awful to ride, but it'll keep the retro folk happy! Each to their own and that.

Do like the Gios blue though!

how so? All the reviews I have read all rate the Gios ride quality, although admittedly I haven't had chance to ride one yet

I think it will ride like a dream. Since I finished my '87 Colnago Mexico I have barely touched my more modern plastic road bike.

Well I'm a fan. Make sure you post when it's finished.

Thanks - that makes me feel better! Hopefully it should be built in a couple of weeks and I'll post up some pics then

Why does that make you feel better? Just out of interest.

I'm trying to get my old Gios back from the old bloke I sold it to years ago.
It's hardly been used since but looks in a sory state.

Lovely, my Dad had Gios super record in the early 80s and it was a lovey bike.
