Just been quoted 200 dollars plus insurance from a ebay store to ship a frame from the USA to the U.K. , that sounds way over the top , anyone here bought a frame from the states recently and if so what did you pay shipping costs .

For a bit of comparison I was looking at getting a light from the states and it was going to be between 35-45 dollars.

had a warrenty claim on an American frame, sent them photos of the broken. They said yes you can have a new one, just pay the postage.
That was $200 too.

I've had "a few" frames from the states $200 seems about normal.

I have had three frames from the States this year. $58 each one with USPS!

I had a warranty Intense offered to me but the £400 shipping by UPS made it not worthwhile. However, I got my current bike from the states, shipped by USPS for about £60
