Couldn't you just make a tyre that was 12.5mm taller? ๐Ÿ™‚

OK but seriously, if I was Lightbicycle or similiar I'd be making a deep section 650b rim with the same ERD as whatever the most popular 26 inch equivalent is, instant upgrade!

what you need is inch longer nipples for your out of date spokes, then it would work with any 650b-iatch rim ๐Ÿ˜›

Northwind, you sure? To switch to 650 you need frame, fork and rim, with all that lot I can't imagine many people going to a minor player for a rim just to save having to buy new spokes. Maybe more use for OEM suppliers to sell to big bike companies, could maybe save a bunch of cash while they use up stock of spokes.

Or have I missed something?

I believe DMR will be introducing fork extensions to match...

That is genius, good work! Crank Bros can make them.

And to get the most out of your new wheels you need higher energy levels.

Fortunately

And of course, you'll now need a more efficient saddle.

The Anatomical Universal Saddle Selector (ANUSS) utilises the pressure sensitivity of modern tablets and the recent advances in smart phone camera resolutions to capture the precise dimensions of a riderโ€™s saddle contact points
