A question for anyone who's done this before. I realise that the official rules & regs state no transfer and photo id is required for sign on but, does anyone know how strictly this is adhered to?
I'm supposed to be heading up there week but my riding partner has dropped out last minute. I've got another mate who's keen to ride but obviously we can't transfer the entry across. It seems a real pita to have to drive all that way on my own to ride on my own* then drive back again
Equally, it's a very long way for him to come if he's just going to get turned away at registration. All seems a bit excessive for a charity ride?
* I know I'll meet lots of other freindly folk but you know what I mean
Call the organiser and ask?
Have done and, predictably, they stick with the official line. No transfers and photo ID on the day.
