Halfords! new bike and the 26mm hex head on the RH side top is loose. Would you trust them to tighten it up without damaging it? Does anyone know how the lockout switch pops off?

Which bike is it? On my Boardman comp the lockout switch on the top just pulls off but I suspect its not the same Epicon fork as the hex head is under the switch.
