Humvees or Singletracks?
Why?
Humvees are fab. Not too sweaty hot when it gets warmer than you thought, but they do me down to about 0 degrees too. Only criticism would be the plethora of pockets that you don't actually need...
Burners look nice though... ๐
Got both, the fit on the singletracks seems more tailored and the waist adjustment is better. The belt on the humvee's is rubbish ime. Also the sizing is a bit 'endura', the humvee's I have are large, the singletracks are medium and I own some zyme's in a small. But overall I like them all.
Oh, I forgot about the belt. Throw it away - its useless!
I have some older Humvees which are just beginning to fall apart through use. Nowt wrong with the belt though. Just considering options this time around.
Being a bit slow on the uptake with baggy shorts, I've only just recently got a pair of Humvee's and I really like them - so much so that I bought another pair! ( my plan being to use them off bike as well). I went for the 3/4 because the short shorts actually came across my lower knee and felt that might be in the way when cycling.
End of July went on hols and wore them as shorts to travel in ( car > ferry > drive down through France ). Found them really comfy.
Then cycled in temp's around 26-30C and they were good. Cool, comfy on bike and also protected me from the sun - cos it was hot!
My only criticism was the poppers. Pair no. 1 developed popper prob's on journey down ( kept popping for no reason ) and pair no. 2 did the same on return. I contacted Endura on return home and they were brilliant. Admitted they had some popper prob's but thought they'd recalled them all..... " don't worry sir, send them back" so I did. Sent them monday dinnertime, new replacements arrived wednesday first thing. I thought that was good!
I'm impressed. I like Humvee's!
Before buying my second pair, I did try on some Singlerack 3/4's and they felt good. it was a tough call, but I felt that I needed to go on the lighter side for the warm weather on my hols. With it now being a tad inclement, I'm wondering about some more weather resistant shorts more suited for over here.

Q
2 pairs of Humvee's love them
Just got some Zymes too
Belt is useless on the humvee's, went a size smaller on the Zymes because of no elasticated waist and was a good move!
3 x pairs of Humvee's great kit & wouldn't buy anything else
I have a pair of 3/4 hummvees about three years old, bought a new pair recently. THE BELT IS BETTER NOW!
