can i use this as a standard headset on my steel voodoo wanga?
or can you recommend a low stack height headset?
cheers
thats a no... sorry answered my own question.
would be grateful for low stack height recommendations please ๐
tbh the one in your original post seems good for the money. Only one lower that I can think of is a CB at 21mm but thats a lot more money
i cant though because thats an integrated headset and the wanga is aheadset only,
how about this one?
cant work out the wording, is total stack height here 24mm?
hmm i dont think so, in that case teh lowest i can find is this one?
I reckon you were right with the first one. Doesn't look like an integrated headset as it has bearing cups (integrated set up just has sealed bearings themselves which sit inside the headtube, along with a crown race and top bearing cover. As stated, on an alloy frame the edge of the low profile cups will sit inline with your headtube . . . on a steel frame I reckon they would sit just as on a normal headset set up.
right i have emailed them to ask if its suitable, be chuffed if it is.
cheers
I'm with mama...doesn't look like an integrated to me. Seems good value for the stack height...might get one myself, cheers ๐
It's not integrated, but it is ****. I had a m-part headset. All the bearings migrated north, as a groove in my steerer could testify.
