hello, noticed On-One has a good deal on this light set

http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/LIEL16LEDFR/electron-16-led-light-system

Didnt know if anyone had any dealings with these lights, the thing thats annoying me is I cant find a lumen rating for them.

The other option is the Electron Terra 2,

as you can see im on a budget, Baby on the way!

any advice would be great! or a good 2nd had set may be good 😀

Cheers Steve

The ones from on one are ok for road or toe path use. I wouldnt want to go far off road with them. They give a spot from each beam and not alot of side spread. Better off with a 2nd had unit or a DX light for that money.

The Terra is the successor to the 16 LED system and it is a very nice budget light. Terra everytime out of those two choices.

If you can stump up the extra i would. The 816 is a bigger unit but the main advantage is that it has a bar mounted button to turn the lights on off and you can dim them with the thumb button rather than faffing with button on the back of the light. that is worth the extra alone.

I was tempted by the Terra, because of that review, the magicshine 816 is a nice sounding bit of kit, shame it would look like micky mouse is coming towards you 😀

Any other option? Im quite tempted about the Magicshine 816 but the bar mounts worry me, The Terra are nice looking light but I might as well spend the extra bucks for the power!
